Santos Uhin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lino Lluis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. Salvador Estebano's late challenge caught a Venezia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Estebano helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to C.A.P.J. getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Salvador Estebano hit a great ball. Santos Ferdinand was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 22nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Guib in the 25th minute of play forced C.A.P.J.'s goalkeeper Narciso Montel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Venezia FC were awarded a corner. Santos Ferdinand went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Venezia FC's Giorgio Chiellini getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 29th minute, Geronimo Marques reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Santos Uhin. The goal made the score 2-1. When Venezia FC's Albino Chap in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A.P.J.'s goalie prevented a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute, Dionisio Frichoso fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Marques in the 58th minute of play forced Venezia FC's goalkeeper Santos Uhin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narciso Montel was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Albino Chap capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Albino Chap really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. In the 66th match minute, C.A.P.J. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Munio to maneuver through the defense. Venezia FC's Santos Ferdinand got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Narciso Montel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Chap, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, C.A.P.J.'s Geronimo Marques got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 77th match minute, C.A.P.J. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Estebano to maneuver through the defense. Narciso Montel was a little too slow when Albino Chap got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 2-4. Albino Chap blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Narciso Montel having to make a save. Geronimo Marques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santos Uhin having to make a save. Lino Lluis struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Santos Uhin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.P.J..
