To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 12 played minutes C.A.P.J. got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Maria. After having played for 24 minutes, Florencio Serafo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.P.J.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Florencio Serafo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Narciso Montel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Ruy's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Ruy in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narciso Montel saved C.A.P.J. from getting behind. In the 32nd minute, Martin Ruy reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Narciso Montel. The goal made the score 1-0. Narciso Montel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Ruy in the 37th minute of the match. Florencio Serafo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Pietro having to interfere. After 64 minutes of play, Trinchera FC's Rolando Navarro made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Narciso Montel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martin Ruy's late challenge caught a C.A.P.J.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
