After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Maximino Gora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trinchera FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximino Gora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Oso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Urbano Ferdinand blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Oso having to make a save. With an all-out effort, Huarriors AFC's Virgilio Pietro threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fabio Ortzi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 18 minutes into the match, Trinchera FC's Rolando Navarro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Oso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Urbano Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Oso having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Huarriors AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Manuelo. Fernando Oso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Ferdinand, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Huarriors AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Oso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Urbano Ferdinand in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Oso saved Huarriors AFC from getting behind. Virgilio Pietro made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Jacinto Manuelo sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Trinchera FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Rolando Navarro hit a great ball. Huarriors AFC's Fernando Oso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Ferdinand in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabio Ortzi to make the kick off. Trinchera FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Huarriors AFC the free kick. In the 59th match minute, Trinchera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Vitin to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Oso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Urbano Ferdinand showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 64 minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Huarriors AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Ferdinand came free, but Fernando Oso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Oso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Ferdinand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute Jacinto Manuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Pietro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urbano Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Oso having to interfere.
