Baldomiro Gonzalez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Ishmael having to interfere. When Astor Fernanco fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CENTAURO's protests and gave Astor Fernanco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, CENTAURO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Fernanco to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Seguinus hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When Bruno Seguinus came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the La Candela FC fans jumped to their feet. The referee ignored CENTAURO's protests and gave Saturnino Aznar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Saturnino Aznar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Benigno Guillem from long distance, 40 minutes into the match, got Ceferino Ishmael's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 42nd minute Bruno Seguinus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Ishmael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ceferino Ishmael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baldomiro Gonzalez in the 43rd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baldomiro Gonzalez to make the kick off. Leonardo Salvadore's late challenge caught a La Candela FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonardo Salvadore helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when CENTAURO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Salvadore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Americo Maxin kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Benigno Guillem missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 83 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ceferino Ishmael right hand side. In the 86th minute Baldomiro Gonzalez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Ishmael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
