They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dario Pelagius to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in La Mazorca's zone, Primitivo Elequemedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clodoveo Gartxot came out of the goal and Primitivo Elequemedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute, Dario Pelagius made a precise shot to the right of Serafin Luzaide. Victorica AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Rene Veto kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Victorica AFC's Abelardo Abella sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clodoveo Gartxot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 78 played minutes Victorica AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Theodore. Abelardo Abella received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Clodoveo Gartxot came out and tried to block the shot, but Abelardo Abella slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 85th minute. Clodoveo Gartxot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Primitivo Elequemedo in the 88th minute. Serafin Luzaide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Pelagius in the 94th minute of the match. The La Mazorca fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Victorica AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
