But to his dismay, Marcos Hever quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the game, La Mazorca's Gilberto Bernat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celedonio Dominguez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After having played for 10 minutes, Isidoro Tuste managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Mazorca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Tuste was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvestre Azibar hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. If Dario Pelagius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niceto Baldovino hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Isidoro Tuste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Dominguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clodoveo Gartxot made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Baldomiro Jakobe sent off a good shot on target. Celedonio Dominguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Hever, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 32 played minutes La Mazorca got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Kaxen. Celedonio Dominguez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcos Hever went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dario Pelagius was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Dario Pelagius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Dominguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Pelagius in the 61st minute of play forced The Waldos's goalkeeper Celedonio Dominguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celedonio Dominguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Hever, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Mazorca's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcos Hever in the 86th minute. The corner led La Mazorca's Marcos Hever to fire away a dangerous shot which Celedonio Dominguez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of The Waldos booed when La Mazorca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Tuste didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute of the match Eloy Maiorga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clodoveo Gartxot skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Baldomiro Jakobe managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Waldos's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Jakobe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clodoveo Gartxot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. La Mazorca's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
