Matheu City FC's Aureliano Lorenz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Matheu City FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Gurutz got free with Aureliano Lorenz in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Filomeno Pueblo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Natanael hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Emiliano Bernabel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aureliano Lorenz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Natanael, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Venancio Cresencio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of RÚSTICOS F.C's Arsenio Quexal. Arsenio Quexal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Matheu City FC's Aureliano Lorenz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Matheu City FC from getting a goal against them. Arsenio Quexal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Cresencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo Gurutz took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aureliano Lorenz. Aureliano Lorenz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After the first half Matheu City FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leopoldo Gurutz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aureliano Lorenz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Natanael in the 53rd minute of the match. Matheu City FC's Aureliano Lorenz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Gurutz in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Leopoldo Gurutz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RÚSTICOS F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The Matheu City FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aureliano Lorenz should have stopped the shot. If Leopoldo Gurutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Caetano kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Abel Natanael ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aureliano Lorenz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. In the 84th minute, Leopoldo Gurutz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leopoldo Gurutz in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aureliano Lorenz saved Matheu City FC from getting behind. Abel Natanael scored 6-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aureliano Lorenz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, RÚSTICOS F.C's goalkeeper Arsenio Quexal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Venancio Cresencio. 92 minutes into the match, RÚSTICOS F.C's goalkeeper Arsenio Quexal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ambrosio Umea. For all the effort they put into the match, the Matheu City FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
