The Defensores de Mar de Ajó fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Jonatan Ferran looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 13th match minute, RÚSTICOS F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Santxol to maneuver through the defense. After 15 played minutes Defensores de Mar de Ajó got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Tipi. A collision led to RÚSTICOS F.C getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ariel Santxol hit a great ball. After 21 played minutes, Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Rafael Domeka shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arsenio Quexal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Defensores de Mar de Ajó reached it. Filomeno Pueblo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as RÚSTICOS F.C's Victor Gamus slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Omar Bartuelo. That made the score 1-1 after 30 minutes of play. Victor Gamus who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Omar Bartuelo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Omar Bartuelo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Defensores de Mar de Ajó from getting a goal against them. Omar Bartuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Gamus in the 37th minute of the match. Bonifacio Ur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Omar Bartuelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Bartuelo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Gamus in the 40th minute. Arsenio Quexal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Otoniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 45 minutes into the game, Ariel Santxol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RÚSTICOS F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores de Mar de Ajó the free kick. Ariel Santxol hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 47thth minute Freddy Lapurdi beautifully dribbled past RÚSTICOS F.C's defense and it looked for a moment as a certain goal, but Arsenio Quexal pulled off a phantom save to prevent the ball from scoring on his left hand side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavio Peyo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Abel Natanael cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Omar Bartuelo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Donato Otoniel struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Arsenio Quexal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Mar de Ajó. Arsenio Quexal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apolo Salvidor in the 62nd minute. Rafael Domeka hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Victor Gamus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70thth minute of the game Victor Gamus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Omar Bartuelo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonatan Ferran in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arsenio Quexal saved RÚSTICOS F.C from getting behind. Omar Bartuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Gamus, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Diego Lidon's late challenge caught a RÚSTICOS F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Lidon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Defensores de Mar de Ajó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Lidon to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute of the match Aquilino Tolino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Omar Bartuelo skillfully saved the ball. Flavio Peyo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Arsenio Quexal made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Gamus in the 85th minute of play forced Defensores de Mar de Ajó's goalkeeper Omar Bartuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Bonifacio Ur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RÚSTICOS F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores de Mar de Ajó the free kick. In the 90th minute, Bonifacio Ur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonatan Ferran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsenio Quexal having to interfere. Donato Otoniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Arsenio Quexal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in RÚSTICOS F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! Defensores de Mar de Ajó's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because RÚSTICOS F.C had won, even though Defensores de Mar de Ajó had held more of the ball.
