The supporters of Atlético Rio Cuarto booed when Matheu City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Corderall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aureliano Lorenz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Arotza, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Benvide in the 87th minute of play forced Matheu City FC's goalkeeper Aureliano Lorenz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute Eleuterio Benvide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Lorenz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Matheu City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Arotza came free, but Aureliano Lorenz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
