Bernardo Rudolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente's Elias Petrigai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Igor Jago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Everardo Meder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio-Di-Domenico Echeverri in the 10th minute of play. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang sped through C.A.Independiente's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Everardo Meder. Igor Jago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arsenio Jaizki's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Perpinya in the 17th minute of play forced C.A.Independiente's goalkeeper Everardo Meder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Enrique Venerando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Aristides Perpinya ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Everardo Meder was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Everardo Meder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio-Di-Domenico Echeverri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias Petrigai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Jago having to interfere. If Elias Petrigai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 played minutes Real Còrdoba FC got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Kusko. Everardo Meder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Claudio-Di-Domenico Echeverri made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Independiente's zone, Claudio-Di-Domenico Echeverri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Everardo Meder came out of the goal and Claudio-Di-Domenico Echeverri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Petrigai got free with Igor Jago in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Everardo Meder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Perpinya in the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to C.A.Independiente getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Anier Polo hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Real Còrdoba FC's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 63 minutes into the game, when Reynaldo Fraco put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of C.A.Independiente:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Real Còrdoba FC:s goal. The referee gave Real Còrdoba FC a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Claudio-Di-Domenico Echeverri, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of C.A.Independiente's Everardo Meder. 4-0. If Arsenio Jaizki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75thth minute of the game Claudio-Di-Domenico Echeverri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A.Independiente's Everardo Meder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Everardo Meder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 82nd minute, Claudio-Di-Domenico Echeverri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Còrdoba FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 91 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio-Di-Domenico Echeverri came free, but Everardo Meder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Còrdoba FC made a substitution. Horacio Arano replaced Amancio Loramendi.
