Motu's Eliseo Abeita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Dubardo in the 4th minute of play. After 5 played minutes Motu got a freekick which was hit by Roque Etxekopar. In the 8th minute, Bernardino Donio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Motu's Teofilo Artaldo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 14 played minutes Motu got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Paublo. Horacio Ibar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Harriet in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of C.A Vientos Huracanados booed when Motu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Gurutz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Abeita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Federigo in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Horacio Harriet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horacio Ibar. C.A Vientos Huracanados's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horacio Harriet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Eliseo Abeita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aristides Federigo in the 40th minute. Horacio Ibar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horacio Harriet's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Horacio Harriet made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Horacio Harriet put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Horacio Ibar. After a rather tough play, Motu's Sixto Paublo got a free kick in the 56th minute. Motu's Eliseo Abeita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Federigo in the 61st minute of play. After 61 played minutes Motu got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Deunoro. Aristides Federigo took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseo Abeita. Eliseo Abeita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In a very dangerous position, a player in Motu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! Eliseo Abeita had in the 73rdth minute some difficulties stopping Bernardino Donio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 75th minute of the match C.A Vientos Huracanados got a corner. Motu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bernardino Donio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Miguel Porfiro thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Eliseo Abeita, a very annoying self made goal in the 75th minute which led to 3-2. When C.A Vientos Huracanados's Horacio Roano in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Motu's goalie prevented a goal. C.A Vientos Huracanados's Horacio Ibar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save C.A Vientos Huracanados from getting a goal against them. Roque Etxekopar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Horacio Ibar made a huge save. Eliseo Abeita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Federigo in the 96th minute of play.
