C.A.Independiente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodosio Berriotxoa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to Mystyc FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Moises Jerano hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Independiente's zone, Maximo Franco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Everardo Meder came out of the goal and Maximo Franco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mystyc FC's Alejandro Raphael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Urre in the 36th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Teodosio Berriotxoa made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernabe Madeo got free with Everardo Meder in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reynaldo Fraco's late challenge caught a Mystyc FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reynaldo Fraco helped the player get up and apologised. C.A.Independiente's Everardo Meder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Vimaro in the 58th minute of play. Bernabe Madeo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Everardo Meder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mystyc FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Teodosio Berriotxoa hit a great ball. Teodosio Berriotxoa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Everardo Meder made a huge save. If Bernabe Madeo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Urre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A.Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mystyc FC the free kick. In the 82nd minute, Reynaldo Urre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernabe Madeo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Mystyc FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Benigno Vimaro struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Everardo Meder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mystyc FC. Teodosio Berriotxoa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Everardo Meder made a huge save. In the 88thth minute of the game Teodosio Berriotxoa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A.Independiente's Everardo Meder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th match minute, Mystyc FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Ibar to maneuver through the defense. Reynaldo Urre might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alejandro Raphael. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reynaldo Urre ran back to his position shaking his head. Alejandro Raphael came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.Independiente's Elias Petrigai. But to his dismay, Elias Petrigai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Reynaldo Fraco was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 97th match minute, C.A.Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Fraco to maneuver through the defense. Venancio Ibar struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Everardo Meder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mystyc FC. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
