Haroldo Gorri took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Quinito. Carlos Quinito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Marco Lop managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Lop was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Candido Gudesteo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adolfo Cordera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Yaji FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Cordera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustacio Gaskon scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Candido Gudesteo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos Quinito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Faro, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Carlos Quinito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Chico in the 22nd minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Gervasio Faro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Carlos Quinito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benjamin Oriche kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Carlos Quinito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Chico in the 35th minute of the match. Hernan Domingues hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gervasio Faro made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Haroldo Gorri reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carlos Quinito. The goal made the score 1-3. In the 59th minute, Haroldo Gorri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th match minute, Yaji FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Loi to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute of the match Dionisio Olivar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Candido Gudesteo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Yaji FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Evelio Tauro hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Gorri in the 72nd minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Carlos Quinito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gervasio Faro in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Quinito saved Boca Juniors from getting behind. Carlos Quinito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Gorri in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Carlos Quinito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gervasio Faro. The crowd rose to their feet as Yaji FC's Adolfo Cordera slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carlos Quinito. That made the score 1-4 after 80 minutes of play. In the 88th minute, Marco Lop made a precise shot to the right of Candido Gudesteo. Yaji FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Yaji FC's Evelio Tauro suffered a sprained foot after 90 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 90 minutes, Eustacio Gaskon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boca Juniors and the Yaji FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yaji FC's Severiano Leoiar was substituted for Evelio Tauro. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Eustacio Gaskon hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, Haroldo Gorri notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Boca Juniors's Carlos Quinito. Carlos Quinito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yaji FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
