In the 3rd minute Mauricio Feliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Duardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.del.U FC's Casimiro Vermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Delgado in the 12th minute of play. Casimiro Vermudo came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Frontera AFC's Alejo Calixto. But to his dismay, Alejo Calixto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 18th minute, Marcelo Delgado made a precise shot to the right of Casimiro Vermudo. C.del.U FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Frontera AFC's Tomas Duardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Feliz in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Frontera AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Calixto to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Feliz in the 32nd minute of play forced Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Tomas Duardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejo Calixto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.del.U FC's goalkeeper Casimiro Vermudo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 42ndth minute of the game Kevin Zenón who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.del.U FC's Casimiro Vermudo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Frontera AFC booed when C.del.U FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Beliran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Marcelo Delgado made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Mauricio Feliz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.del.U FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. If Alejo Calixto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Marcelo Delgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casimiro Vermudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Zenón, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 81 minutes, Miguel Abella mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.del.U FC and the Frontera AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st minute, Miguel Abella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaime Tanio's late challenge caught a Frontera AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Tanio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, C.del.U FC's Jaime Tanio got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Mauricio Feliz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Marcelo Delgado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frontera AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.del.U FC the free kick. The supporters of C.del.U FC booed when Frontera AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Delgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Frontera AFC's Teo Estebano seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Teo Estebano the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Frontera AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Teo Estebano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 90 played minutes Frontera AFC got a freekick which was hit by Teo Estebano. Tomas Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Bilintx in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of C.del.U FC booed when Frontera AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Zenón didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Duardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Elija in the 94th minute of the match. Frontera AFC's Tomas Duardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Feliz in the 95th minute of play. Casimiro Vermudo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alejo Calixto's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. When the final whistle sounded Frontera AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than C.del.U FC.
