Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Frontera AFC's Marcelo Delgado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Piarres in the 4th minute of play forced Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Tomas Duardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Congo Bongo's Orlando Piarres dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Frontera AFC's Kevin Zenón got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Duardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustin Chico in the 10th minute. A collision led to Frontera AFC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Marcelo Delgado hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Frontera AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! Tomas Duardo had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Ciriaco Erlantz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Tomas Duardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustin Chico in the 30th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristo Silviano during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tomas Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Baladi in the 34th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Ciriaco Erlantz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tomas Duardo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 36th minute, Efrain Baladi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomas Duardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 46 played minutes Congo Bongo got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Chico. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximiliano Baumar to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Frontera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Baumar came free, but Tomas Duardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Congo Bongo booed when Frontera AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Selatse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Congo Bongo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Kevin Zenón scored to the left of an out of position Baltasar Maria, making the score, 3-1. Tomas Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Baladi in the 60th minute of play. Tomas Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Piarres in the 64th minute of play. Agustin Chico scored 4-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomas Duardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adrian Selatse's late challenge caught a Congo Bongo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Selatse helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 70 minutes, Ciriaco Erlantz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Congo Bongo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciriaco Erlantz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 73 played minutes Congo Bongo got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Erlantz. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Alejo Calixto put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Baltasar Maria. 80 minutes into the game, Kevin Zenón recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baltasar Maria. Kevin Zenón showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-3. Adrian Selatse hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Saverio Ibon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Congo Bongo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
