In the 20th minute Eusebio Lapurdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Quin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cachiyuyo EAS's Eusebio Lapurdi got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Eleuterio Sansone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Gilabert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romeo Orzaize was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Moises Chumo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd match minute, Cachiyuyo EAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Hotz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Lapurdi in the 35th minute of play forced Adrogue FC's goalkeeper Cesar Quin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eusebio Lapurdi came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Cachiyuyo EAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebio Lapurdi couldn't finish the play. Eusebio Lapurdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Quin having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eusebio Lapurdi made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Cachiyuyo EAS's zone, Gustavo Gilabert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeo Orzaize came out of the goal and Gustavo Gilabert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Moises Chumo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adrogue FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Chumo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Orzaize breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romeo Orzaize showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Sansone, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute, Moises Chumo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romeo Orzaize was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Moises Chumo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adrogue FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Chumo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Orzaize breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Niceto Guilabertus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eleuterio Sansone might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeo Orzaize. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eleuterio Sansone ran back to his position shaking his head. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Adrogue FC had played much better football throughout.
