An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Remir in the 3rd minute of play forced Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Delmar Quintin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Gonsalve in the 5th minute of play forced 0 descensos's goalkeeper Constantino Modestio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Padro kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvano Ongile got free with Constantino Modestio in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Constantino Modestio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Federico Anaya's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Deportivo Mandiyu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alejandro Mancuso in the 14th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvano Ongile during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th minute, Silvano Ongile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andres Lucero took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delmar Quintin. Delmar Quintin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Constantino Modestio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Anaya in the 26th minute of play. After 28 played minutes 0 descensos got a freekick which was hit by David Tiniebra. A collision led to 0 descensos getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Andres Lucero hit a great ball. Constantino Modestio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Federico Anaya's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After the first half 0 descensos were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Siro Argi to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Siro Argi managed to get in a good position for a shot. 0 descensos's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Argi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmar Quintin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Deportivo Mandiyu getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Alejandro Mancuso hit a great ball. Deportivo Mandiyu's Bruno Arotza was substituted for Marcial Maju. Deportivo Mandiyu's Laureano Eladio was substituted for Federico Anaya. Aurelio Berbiz kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, 0 descensos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Lucero to maneuver through the defense. If Andres Lucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siro Argi came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Delmar Quintin could save by the left post. Constantino Modestio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucio Mateo went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the 0 descensos players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
