Ruben Gartzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melchor Ondino's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Ruben Gartzi made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Melchor Ondino sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the match, Melchor Ondino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruben Gartzi. Gloria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melchor Ondino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 25th minute, Melchor Ondino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cremonese fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Ruben Gartzi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 32 played minutes Gloria got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Ayala. After a rather tough play, Gloria's Carmelo Ler got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 39 minutes of play, Cremonese's Melchor Ondino made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruben Gartzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 44 played minutes Prudencio Ostargi rounded Gloria's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 8-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melchor Ondino to make the kick off. Ruben Gartzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Ondino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cremonese's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
