Candelaria FC's Roman Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lorenzo Candelario hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Epifanio Veronica notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Candelaria FC's Gustavo Galindo. Gustavo Galindo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Globalización booed when Candelaria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquiles Bernat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Peli, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When Wilfredo Luzea fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Globalización's protests and gave Wilfredo Luzea a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute Roman Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Bernat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Peli took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquiles Bernat. Aquiles Bernat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Peli to make the kick off. With a little luck, Globalización's Aquiles Bernat got control of the ball when Marco Peli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aquiles Bernat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Peli in the 56th minute. Gustavo Galindo came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Globalización's Marco Transito. But to his dismay, Marco Transito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Candelaria FC's zone, Jeremias Hernando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Galindo came out of the goal and Jeremias Hernando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Candelaria FC's Roman Barros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aquiles Bernat. That made the score 2-3 after 69 minutes of play. Globalización's Aquiles Bernat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Globalización from getting a goal against them. Globalización's Maximo Jaume quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alfredo Tulio, made in the 76th minute of the game. In the 79th minute, Maximo Jaume hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquiles Bernat was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lorenzo Candelario. Marco Peli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Aquiles Bernat made a huge save. 82 minutes into the match, Globalización's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Barros came free, but Aquiles Bernat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Candelaria FC's Aquiles Bernat threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roman Barros, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Wilfredo Luzea was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Thanks to some nice moves with his feet 94 minutes in the game Lorenzo Candelario managed to fire away a quick shot, that unfortunally went outside the top left corner. A very good opportunity for a goal.
