The supporters of Club Floresta Manda booed when Flores AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Joanes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Flores AC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Bartoli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timoteo Aritza. Timoteo Aritza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gonzalo Bartoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonzalo Bartoli made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Timoteo Aritza sent off a good shot on target. If Guaberto Lixandro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Rafe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Floresta Manda's Timoteo Aritza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gonzalo Bartoli. That made the score 3-0 after 45 minutes of play.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Aritza in the 51st minute of play forced Flores AC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Bartoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulises Rafe's late challenge caught a Club Floresta Manda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulises Rafe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd match minute, Flores AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Rafe to maneuver through the defense. Gonzalo Bartoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Aritza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 minutes, Honorato Benitez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flores AC and the Club Floresta Manda players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Flores AC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute.
