Globalización's Aquiles Bernat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Globalización from getting a goal against them. Carlos Joanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Aquiles Bernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Globalización's Casimiro Lalla got a free kick in the 13th minute. Globalización's Aquiles Bernat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Globalización from getting a goal against them. A sloppy throw-in by Hermengildo Gonzalez in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Globalización's Maximo Jaume. In the 22nd match minute, Globalización was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Lizar to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Epifanio Veronica in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonzalo Bartoli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Flores AC's zone, Epifanio Veronica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Bartoli came out of the goal and Epifanio Veronica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulises Rafe got free with Aquiles Bernat in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urbano Pagomari during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Globalización getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Urbano Pagomari hit a great ball. If Anier Beremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Globalización's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Joanes came free, but Aquiles Bernat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Globalización's goalkeeper Aquiles Bernat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulises Rafe. After 48 played minutes Flores AC got a freekick which was hit by Anier Beremundo. After a very even first half the match was still tied. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Flores AC had played much better football throughout.
