Zacarias Pero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Koldobika, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. When Candelaria FC's Delmar Kelemen in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gladiadores's goalie prevented a goal. In the 9th minute, Delmar Kelemen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Iturri got free with Gustavo Galindo in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guido Koldobika took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zacarias Pero. Zacarias Pero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Guido Koldobika's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zacarias Pero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Gladiadores's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Barros came free, but Zacarias Pero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Iturri got free with Gustavo Galindo in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 29 minutes of play, Gladiadores's Evelio Manilan made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustavo Galindo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anibal Oroitz kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Gladiadores defense, Guido Koldobika kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zacarias Pero. The Gladiadores fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zacarias Pero should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Gladiadores's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Koldobika came free, but Zacarias Pero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florentino Gonchan hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After 44 played minutes, Candelaria FC's Dionisio Santiago shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zacarias Pero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Candelaria FC reached it. After the first half Candelaria FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evelio Manilan to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Gladiadores booed when Candelaria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Kelemen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Galindo came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Gladiadores's Claudio Iturri. But to his dismay, Claudio Iturri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Evelio Baristo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Candelaria FC made a substitution. Aureliano Izotz replaced Carmelo Cordario. Candelaria FC made a substitution. Ruperto Emesto replaced Fernan Ibon. A collision led to Gladiadores getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Evelio Baristo hit a great ball. Gladiadores's Zacarias Pero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Gladiadores from getting a goal against them. After 79 played minutes Candelaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Kelemen. After 81 played minutes Gladiadores got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Manilan. Candelaria FC's Guido Koldobika got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th match minute, Gladiadores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Markel to maneuver through the defense.
