Niceto Daunte hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Kikemania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Elazar came free, but Jaime Quilino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Quilino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Elazar in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of Kikemania FC booed when Sarmiento de Resistencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Patrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Basilio Mateus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarmiento de Resistencia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kikemania FC the free kick. A collision led to Sarmiento de Resistencia getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Basilio Mateus hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, one of Kikemania FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kikemania FC. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Sarmiento de Resistencia. Jaime Sarmiento stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jaime Quilino. 0-3. 35 minutes into the match, Basilio Mateus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jaime Quilino. Kikemania FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basilio Mateus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After having played for 42 minutes, Froilan Erdiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarmiento de Resistencia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Froilan Erdiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Sarmiento de Resistencia were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Benigno Manilan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Garaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th match minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Elazar to maneuver through the defense. Cirilo Azibar kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Rodolfo Mambru kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sarmiento de Resistencia's zone, Salvador Garaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benigno Manilan came out of the goal and Salvador Garaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 97th match minute, Kikemania FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Gagriel to maneuver through the defense. Sarmiento de Resistencia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
