The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Claudio Cordara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Qwinton in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Vilo Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Qwinton came free, but Claudio Cordara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of La Cosa Nostra booed when Vilo Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Celio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Cidro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alejo Belo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. In the 19th match minute, La Cosa Nostra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Chucho to maneuver through the defense. Alejo Belo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Vilo Futbol Club's Atilano Godoy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodrigo Cidro. That made the score 2-0 after 32 minutes of play. Claudio Cordara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Qwinton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Atilano Godoy to make the kick off. When Augusto Eder came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the La Cosa Nostra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Eder couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Vilo Futbol Club getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Atilano Godoy hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Atilano Godoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Erubiel Montrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejo Belo scored 3-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Cidro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rodrigo Cidro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Montrel in the 86th minute of the match. Justino Belo took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Cidro. Rodrigo Cidro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 97th minute, Severo Qwinton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vilo Futbol Club had played much better football throughout.
