Crosmayo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. United.SF's Domingos Acuña shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 18th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Silvano Txartiko but with some difficulty. Silvano Txartiko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Orti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregorio Sabin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Lopez in the 23rd minute of play. If Higinio Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Cayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Gregorio Sabin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Ciriaco Cayo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to United.SF getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Leonardo Theobald hit a great ball. Silvano Txartiko made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Candido Orti sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Crosmayo FC's Carlos Indartsu got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Ceferino Serapio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lisandro Atarratze to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Ciriaco Cayo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crosmayo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciriaco Cayo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lisandro Atarratze's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gregorio Sabin firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gregorio Sabin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lisandro Atarratze in the 60th minute. When Higinio Lopez fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crosmayo FC's protests and gave Higinio Lopez a yellow card for diving instead. Higinio Lopez hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match.
