The crowd rose to their feet as Quilaquina AFC's Vinicio Nastasio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Donato Fliz. That made the score 1-2 after 26 minutes of play. Quilaquina AFC's Luciano Monico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Joanes in the 30th minute of play. Vinicio Nastasio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Donato Fliz came out and tried to block the shot, but Vinicio Nastasio slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 35th minute. Sotelo AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Vinicio Nastasio scored to the left of an out of position Donato Fliz, making the score, 3-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With an all-out effort, Sotelo AFC's Luciano Monico threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cecilio Joanes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fabian Sanson charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabian Sanson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Virgilio Firme came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Quilaquina AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Firme couldn't finish the play.
