In the 3rd minute, Ruben Beltxe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Constantino Socorro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 17 played minutes Sotelo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Amor. 22 minutes into the game, Abel Amor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sotelo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Liquisue FC the free kick. 23 minutes into the match, Sotelo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Egun came free, but Donato Fliz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Sotelo AFC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Edelmiro Frichoso hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Los Liquisue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Sesuldo came free, but Constantino Socorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Abel Amor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Fliz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Adrian Sagrario. After a defensive mix-up in Los Liquisue FC's zone, Rene Sesuldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Socorro came out of the goal and Rene Sesuldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruben Beltxe took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Constantino Socorro. Constantino Socorro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cecilio Joanes made a kick off. When Gonzalo Peyo fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Liquisue FC's protests and gave Gonzalo Peyo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sotelo AFC booed when Los Liquisue FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Peyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donato Fliz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Sanduru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Cecilio Joanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arsenio Sanduru's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Donato Fliz - 1-2 was put on the score board in the 72nd minute. In the 81st match minute, Sotelo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Sesuldo to maneuver through the defense. After 83 played minutes Los Liquisue FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Peyo. Rene Sesuldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd match minute, Sotelo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Lizbeth to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sotelo AFC's goalkeeper Donato Fliz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abel Amor got his second yellow card in the match during the 97th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Abel Amor hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Sotelo AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
