After 6 played minutes Club Atletico Chusca got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Eguen. Elias Garin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Lugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erasmo Lertxun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Fidel Barrionuevo made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Miraflores's Erasmo Lertxun got a free kick in the 13th minute. Alonzo Lugo struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Elias Garin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Chusca. 14 minutes into the game, Apolo Astrada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miraflores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Chusca the free kick. Apolo Astrada hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Bernardino Orlondon sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Miraflores's Elias Garin didn't even have to move. Elias Garin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Ireno in the 18th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Club Atletico Chusca got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Ireno. 22 minutes into the match, Miraflores's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Guifre came free, but Elias Garin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Alonzo Lugo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Garin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Mariano Sidro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miraflores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Chusca the free kick. In the 34th match minute, Miraflores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Sidro to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Alonzo Lugo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 38 minutes of play, Club Atletico Chusca's Alonzo Lugo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias Garin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the match, Miraflores's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Guifre came free, but Elias Garin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Club Atletico Chusca were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erasmo Lertxun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fidel Barrionuevo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Poncio, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Leonardo Millrick kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When Mariano Sidro came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Miraflores fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Sidro couldn't finish the play. After 59 minutes, Alonzo Lugo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Chusca and the Miraflores players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute, Alonzo Lugo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fidel Barrionuevo came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Miraflores's Federico Poncio. But to his dismay, Federico Poncio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Danilo Quexal kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Elias Garin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alonzo Lugo in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Rozarius got free with Elias Garin in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danilo Quexal during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 73 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's Bernardino Orlondon broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Miraflores's Elias Garin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Miraflores from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Poncio in the 79th minute of play forced Club Atletico Chusca's goalkeeper Fidel Barrionuevo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Atletico Chusca's Fidel Barrionuevo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Lertxun in the 80th minute of play. Nemesio Santo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Club Atletico Chusca's Bernardino Orlondon shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 81st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Elias Garin but with some difficulty. Rafael Guifre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Federico Poncio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miraflores's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Poncio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidel Barrionuevo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the match, Miraflores's goalkeeper Elias Garin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alonzo Lugo. When Bernardino Orlondon fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Chusca's protests and gave Bernardino Orlondon a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Club Atletico Chusca got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Orlondon. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
