In the 38th match minute, Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Orixe to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Romeo Abeijon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Baldomero Cayo. That made the score 5-0 in the 45 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabricio Clementi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isaias Benvido scored 6-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baldomero Cayo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th minute, Gustavo Orixe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomero Cayo was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. 83 minutes into the match, Isaias Benvido had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baldomero Cayo. Fleetwood Town's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaias Benvido was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. In the 87th minute, Gustavo Orixe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0.
