The long shot by Aquilino Maura in the 3rd minute really tested Baldomero Cayo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Mariano Sidro kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Erasmo Lertxun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miraflores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fleetwood Town the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Miraflores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Lertxun to maneuver through the defense. Fabricio Clementi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Garin having to interfere. Fabricio Clementi kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Miraflores's Erasmo Lertxun ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Baldomero Cayo. Baldomero Cayo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 30th minute, Erasmo Lertxun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomero Cayo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Erasmo Lertxun came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Baldomero Cayo could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Erasmo Lertxun took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Baldomero Cayo to make any attempt to save it. Federico Poncio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baldomero Cayo came out and tried to block the shot, but Federico Poncio slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 42nd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Apolo Astrada kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Fabricio Clementi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomero Cayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Lertxun in the 60th minute of the match. Fleetwood Town's Baldomero Cayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Sidro in the 61st minute of play. Baldomero Cayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Sidro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Fleetwood Town getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Fabricio Clementi hit a great ball. Fleetwood Town's Baldomero Cayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Lertxun in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Fleetwood Town's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Poncio came free, but Baldomero Cayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 played minutes Fleetwood Town got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Avellaneda. Federico Poncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fleetwood Town's Baldomero Cayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Lertxun in the 71st minute of play. Elias Garin was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Fabricio Clementi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fabricio Clementi really showed his touch with that goal: 5-1. In the 78th minute, Federico Poncio made a precise shot to the right of Baldomero Cayo. Fleetwood Town's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Lertxun in the 82nd minute of play forced Fleetwood Town's goalkeeper Baldomero Cayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomero Cayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Poncio in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute Erasmo Lertxun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Cayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomero Cayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Lertxun, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute Erasmo Lertxun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Cayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, one of Fleetwood Town:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fleetwood Town. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Miraflores. Erasmo Lertxun stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Baldomero Cayo. 7-1. Erasmo Lertxun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Cayo having to interfere.
