After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Celedonio Leoncio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acratas Unidos's supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Leoncio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Pinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rolando Medina kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Acratas Unidos booed when Barsa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Merexildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Medina, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Rolando Medina made the kick off in the second half. After 61 played minutes, Barsa FC's Arnaldo Guerrero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Evelio Gines came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barsa FC reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolando Medina in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Federico Pinto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isidoro Barto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Evelio Gines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Barsa FC got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Barto. Evelio Gines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Barto in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th match minute, Acratas Unidos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Erruki to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Guerrero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Acratas Unidos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
