After having played for 14 minutes, Celedonio Leoncio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acratas Unidos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celedonio Leoncio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Acratas Unidos booed when La Gallardeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Eron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Narciso Matteo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Celedonio Leoncio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Acratas Unidos booed when La Gallardeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Egoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Nafarroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Medina in the 39th minute of the match. Gaudencio Eron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Gines having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliseo Illan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jaime Nafarroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Leoncio in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Medina in the 56th minute of play forced La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Jaime Nafarroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to La Gallardeta getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Donato Izotz hit a great ball. La Gallardeta's Jaime Nafarroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Medina in the 66th minute of play. Acratas Unidos were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after La Gallardeta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rolando Medina took the corner. In the 71st match minute, La Gallardeta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Edur to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 74 minutes, Eliseo Illan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
