In the 4th minute Gaby Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Matxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaby Gol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Ermegildo Matxin made a huge save. A hard shot 5 in the game by Gaby Gol from a close distance when the talented Ermegildo Matxin managed to make a qualified save. Club Atletico Fenix's players were relieved. Zacarias Arnalt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Valentine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led to Club Atletico Fenix's Jorge Felo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Club Atletico Fenix's Ermegildo Matxin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Fenix from getting a goal against them. In the 14th match minute, GARIBALDI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Matteo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of GARIBALDI FC booed when Club Atletico Fenix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Felo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, GARIBALDI FC's Gaby Gol dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Zacarias Arnalt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafin Casado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Edgard Matteo fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GARIBALDI FC's protests and gave Edgard Matteo a yellow card for diving instead. Julio Matro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zacarias Arnalt having to make a save. After 32 minutes, Augusto Poncio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Fenix and the GARIBALDI FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Augusto Poncio hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Club Atletico Fenix's Ermegildo Matxin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Fenix from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

53 minutes into the game, Israel Indar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ermegildo Matxin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roque Ospin hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Eustaquio Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th match minute, Club Atletico Fenix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Sayvion to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Fenix's Julio Matro got a free kick in the 61st minute. 66 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Fenix's goal looked a bit too open when Gaby Gol came free, but Ermegildo Matxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Txerran in the 70th minute of play forced Club Atletico Fenix's goalkeeper Ermegildo Matxin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 77 minutes on the clock, Ramiro Jaunti commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Zacarias Arnalt had in the 78thth minute some difficulties stopping Angelo Valentine's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the last second Zacarias Arnalt throw himself and got hold of the ball when Angelo Valentine in the 81stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 83 minutes into the game, Angelo Valentine recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zacarias Arnalt. Angelo Valentine showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Edgard Matteo might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ermegildo Matxin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgard Matteo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Casado in the 88th minute of play forced Club Atletico Fenix's goalkeeper Ermegildo Matxin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zacarias Arnalt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Valentine in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Ricardo Bernabel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Fenix's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GARIBALDI FC the free kick. In the 92nd minute, Ricardo Bernabel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to GARIBALDI FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Edgard Matteo hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Atletico Fenix players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GARIBALDI FC.
