The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alejo Itzaina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carolo Chus walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After a rather tough play, Cura del Futbol's Carolo Chus got a free kick in the 10th minute. Cuervos AFC's Gonzalo Benvide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Itzaina in the 12th minute of play. Pablo Bernebe kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cuervos AFC's Marco Selatse got a free kick in the 25th minute. Cura del Futbol's Alejo Itzaina got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Eustaquio Celio fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cura del Futbol's protests and gave Eustaquio Celio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th match minute, Cura del Futbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Celio to maneuver through the defense. Gaspar Lertxuns short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Eusebio Cai to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 36th minute Nereo Aznar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Benvide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonzalo Benvide stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nereo Aznar's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After 42 played minutes Cura del Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Dunixi. Nereo Aznar scored 0-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gonzalo Benvide, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 48th minute Alejo Itzaina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Benvide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nereo Aznar was the one to do the kick off. Gonzalo Benvide made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Alejo Itzaina sent off a good shot on target. In the 59thth minute of the game Nereo Aznar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuervos AFC's Gonzalo Benvide was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gonzalo Benvide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Aznar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Cuervos AFC's Marco Selatse got a free kick in the 61st minute. Delmiro Dunixi hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cura del Futbol's zone, Gaspar Lertxun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebio Cai came out of the goal and Gaspar Lertxun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Aznar in the 90th minute of play forced Cuervos AFC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Benvide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Cuervos AFC defense, Alejo Itzaina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gonzalo Benvide. The Cuervos AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gonzalo Benvide should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Cuervos AFC's zone, Alejo Itzaina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Benvide came out of the goal and Alejo Itzaina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Cura del Futbol's Gonzalo Benvide threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nereo Aznar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the final whistle sounded Cura del Futbol left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cuervos AFC.
