In the 29th match minute, Perros del sur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Ceandro to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Perros del sur defense, Israel Indar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hipolito Quiroga. The Perros del sur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hipolito Quiroga should have stopped the shot. If Israel Indar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gastón Verón got free with Zacarias Arnalt in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Perros del sur players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. GARIBALDI FC were winning 0-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Luken in the 77th minute of play forced GARIBALDI FC's goalkeeper Zacarias Arnalt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, GARIBALDI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gastón Verón came free, but Zacarias Arnalt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eloy Nisio kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The GARIBALDI FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
