Carmelo Roldan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oscar Leoncio. Club Almirante Brown's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Freddy Gonza's late challenge caught a Club Almirante Brown's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Gonza helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tabossi getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Freddy Gonza hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Carmelo Roldan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ceferino Abascal kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 20 minutes of play, Tabossi's Everardo Ixidor made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oscar Leoncio was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Tabossi's zone, Eliseo Nahia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Paul came out of the goal and Eliseo Nahia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Tabossi's Freddy Gonza got a free kick in the 27th minute. Americo Firmin kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Omar Paul made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Erubiel Laurentzi sent off a good shot on target. If Aurelio Maidana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Tancredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 38 in the game by Erubiel Laurentzi from a close distance when the talented Omar Paul managed to make a qualified save. Tabossi's players were relieved. In the 42nd minute, Erubiel Laurentzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Almirante Brown's Eliseo Nahia got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Tabossi's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Nahia came free, but Omar Paul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erubiel Laurentzi was the one to do the kick off. Aurelio Maidana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Paul having to interfere. In the 53rd minute Aurelio Maidana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Paul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erubiel Laurentzi in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omar Paul prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Club Almirante Brown's Celedonio Katia was substituted for Aurelio Maidana. 70 minutes into the game, Hugo Gitano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tabossi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Almirante Brown the free kick. Hugo Gitano hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute Erubiel Laurentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Paul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogelio Luke kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes Club Almirante Brown got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Nahia. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tabossi reached it. After a rather tough play, Tabossi's Ceferino Abascal got a free kick in the 80th minute. Club Almirante Brown's Celedonio Katia got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tabossi's Omar Paul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Katia in the 94th minute of play. Eliseo Nahia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Omar Paul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of Tabossi were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Club Almirante Brown side.
