With a little luck, Pegaso's Zeledon Hermon got control of the ball when Leopoldo Cordarrell tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Real Espartillar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pegaso were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abel Colas was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, Amadeo Inguma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timoteo Poncio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Jurgi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeledon Hermon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Lon in the 66th minute of play. When Amadeo Inguma fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Espartillar's protests and gave Amadeo Inguma a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pegaso booed when Real Espartillar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Inguma didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pegaso had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
