Armando Rosalio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Timoteo Poncio made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Tancredo in the 14th minute of play forced Real Espartillar's goalkeeper Timoteo Poncio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16th play minutes Armando Rosalio shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Timoteo Poncio and just under the crossbar into goal. Albino Asteri kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Mercado Paulista F.C got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Hernandez. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Rosalio got free with Timoteo Poncio in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the game, Real Espartillar's Leopoldo Cordarrell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isaias Quirze made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 31 minutes into the match, Real Espartillar's goalkeeper Timoteo Poncio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Rosalio. A collision led to Mercado Paulista F.C getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ramon Tancredo hit a great ball. When Jonatan Lon fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Espartillar's protests and gave Jonatan Lon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Jonatan Lon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Real Espartillar booed when Mercado Paulista F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Ramon Tancredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Poncio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timoteo Poncio was a little too slow when Armando Rosalio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 3-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Rosalio to make the kick off. Real Espartillar's Timoteo Poncio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Vargas in the 51st minute of play. If Armando Rosalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Armando Rosalio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Timoteo Poncio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Real Espartillar's Timoteo Poncio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Rosalio in the 63rd minute of play. Timoteo Poncio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Rosalio in the 65th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Leopoldo Cordarrell kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isaias Quirze. That made the score 4-3 in the 66 minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Cordarrell dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Isaias Quirze, 4-4. After 74 played minutes Mercado Paulista F.C got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Dimo. The supporters of Mercado Paulista F.C booed when Real Espartillar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Rodriguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Diego Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 90th minute Amadeo Inguma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Quirze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaias Quirze made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucio Ariando in the 91st minute. Mercado Paulista F.C's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
