After 14 minutes, Arnoldo Fraco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toby Futbol Club and the Zuberbühler FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Abeitia. Mauricio Silbestre struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Siro Dantel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toby Futbol Club. 22 minutes into the game, Prospero Savion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toby Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zuberbühler FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Toby Futbol Club's Prospero Savion got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Roque Martxel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

51 minutes into the game, Toby Futbol Club's Augusto Mederi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Siro Dantel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Apolo Abeitia got free with Matias Felipo in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Apolo Abeitias short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Matias Felipo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Toby Futbol Club defense, Apolo Abeitia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matias Felipo. The Toby Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matias Felipo should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Cordaryal got free with Matias Felipo in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matias Felipo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apolo Abeitia in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Zuberbühler FC's Gustavo Cordaryal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Matias Felipo. Matias Felipo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Abajas in the 83rd minute of play forced Toby Futbol Club's goalkeeper Matias Felipo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apolo Abeitia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Matias Felipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zuberbühler FC's Rolando Furtado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Matias Felipo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 94th minute Mauricio Silbestre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Dantel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Zuberbühler FC's zone, Augusto Mederi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siro Dantel came out of the goal and Augusto Mederi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Zuberbühler FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Toby Futbol Club throughout the match.
