Raul Uhin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximino Bidari during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 9 minutes into the match, Hydra's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Ayala came free, but Conrado Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Growlithe FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Aquilino Rencio hit a great ball. Delmar Orlondon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Christobal, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Conrado Marquez came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Growlithe FC's Humberto Boniel. But to his dismay, Humberto Boniel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Abel Luix fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hydra's protests and gave Abel Luix a yellow card for diving instead. Abel Luix kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 33 played minutes Growlithe FC got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Boniel. The long shot by Severo Hotz in the 34th minute really tested Delmar Orlondon's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Humberto Boniel's late challenge caught a Hydra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humberto Boniel helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Growlithe FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Humberto Boniel hit a great ball. Delmar Orlondon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Christobal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Hydra's Camilo Malvin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Delmar Orlondon. Delmar Orlondon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Astor Christobal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Hydra got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Bidari. Conrado Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Tibalt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melchor Izotz lost his temper 64 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Melchor Izotz kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Hotz in the 65th minute of play forced Growlithe FC's goalkeeper Delmar Orlondon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Jeronimo Frechoso sped through Growlithe FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Delmar Orlondon. Hydra made a substitution. Carolo Barros replaced Carlos Joachim. 73 minutes into the match, Growlithe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Frechoso came free, but Delmar Orlondon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 played minutes Growlithe FC got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Boniel. A collision led to Growlithe FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Raul Uhin hit a great ball. If Humberto Ayala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omar Frechoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Marquez having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Growlithe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Frechoso came free, but Delmar Orlondon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristo Blasco hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Hydra were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Growlithe FC for a fine match.
