Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Piquirenda FC's Silvestre Peter started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Piquirenda FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Delmiro Intxixu hit a great ball. Astor Christobal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute Jeronimo Frechoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Elequemedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 minutes, Samuel Munio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piquirenda FC and the Hydra players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Piquirenda FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Samuel Munio hit a great ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Amadeo Matxin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piquirenda FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeo Matxin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 18 played minutes Hydra got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Frechoso. After a rather tough play, Hydra's Maximino Bidari got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 31st minute, Jeronimo Frechoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Freddy Elequemedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Astor Christobal made a kick off. Conrado Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Peter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Hydra's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Matxin came free, but Conrado Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hydra's Conrado Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Peter in the 63rd minute of play. In the 68th minute, Romulo Bizi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Piquirenda FC's Niceto Flor was substituted for Amadeo Matxin. Hydra's Camilo Joanes was substituted for Maximino Bidari. Hydra made a substitution. Carolo Barros replaced Carlos Joachim. After 70 played minutes Piquirenda FC got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Bizi. Carolo Barros struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Freddy Elequemedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hydra. In the 72nd minute, Segundo Corderun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristo Mino was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 73 minutes into the match. Freddy Elequemedo had in the 75thth minute some difficulties stopping Carolo Barros's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romulo Bizi during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Hydra booed when Piquirenda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Bizi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Piquirenda FC's Freddy Elequemedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Piquirenda FC from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the match, Hydra's Carolo Barros broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Fabricio Loi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute of the match Segundo Corderun shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Conrado Marquez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Silvestre Peter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Conrado Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Peter, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the match was over Hydra could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Piquirenda FC throughout the match.
