The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Niceto Flor kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Cardiff City FC's Filomeno Rencio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Cardiff City FC from getting a goal against them. After taking down the ball on Piquirenda FC's corner Amadeo Matxin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Filomeno Rencio quite easily take care of the ball. The Piquirenda FC fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Piquirenda FC's Silvestre Peter looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 16th match minute, Cardiff City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Evangelista to maneuver through the defense. Robustiano Aznaro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Filomeno Rencio. Cardiff City FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Filomeno Rencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Peter in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute Piquirenda FC were awarded a corner. Amadeo Matxin went to the cornerflag to take it. Amadeo Matxin made a great header on Piquirenda FC's corner, it was just that Cardiff City FC's Filomeno Rencio managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 23rd match minute, Cardiff City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Quinito to maneuver through the defense. Niceto Flor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Filomeno Rencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filomeno Rencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Peter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Victorio Eguntsenti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Ermegildo Rico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 33 in the game by Silvestre Peter from a close distance when the talented Filomeno Rencio managed to make a qualified save. Cardiff City FC's players were relieved. Oscar Blai kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Cardiff City FC got a freekick which was hit by Blas Evangelista. 39 minutes into the match, Cardiff City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Peter came free, but Filomeno Rencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filomeno Rencio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvestre Peter went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvestre Peter made a kick off. Silvestre Peter took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filomeno Rencio. Filomeno Rencio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Filomeno Rencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Eguntsenti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filomeno Rencio came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Piquirenda FC's Victorio Eguntsenti. But to his dismay, Victorio Eguntsenti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Filomeno Rencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Flor, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 66th minute of the match Cristo Mino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filomeno Rencio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Piquirenda FC's Silvestre Peter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filomeno Rencio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. A collision led to Cardiff City FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Abelardo Asur hit a great ball. In the 75th minute of the match Amadeo Matxin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filomeno Rencio skillfully saved the ball. Filomeno Rencio came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Piquirenda FC's Silvestre Peter. But to his dismay, Silvestre Peter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Silvestre Peter struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Filomeno Rencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piquirenda FC. Filomeno Rencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Peter in the 87th minute of the match. Cardiff City FC's Filomeno Rencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Peter in the 90th minute of play. Piquirenda FC were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Cardiff City FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amadeo Matxin took the corner. The corner led Piquirenda FC's Amadeo Matxin to fire away a dangerous shot which Filomeno Rencio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Cardiff City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Flor came free, but Filomeno Rencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filomeno Rencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Matxin in the 96th minute of the match. Cardiff City FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
