With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timoteo Sandalio in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornelio Iruinea saved Soda f c from getting behind. A collision led to Soda f c getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ambrosio Izel hit a great ball. Gervasio Xacintu hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 39 played minutes, ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's Timoteo Sandalio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cornelio Iruinea came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ reached it. After 43 played minutes ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Confesor. Cornelio Iruinea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Ibon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilfredo Ibon was the one to do the kick off. Wilfredo Ibon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Iruinea having to interfere. Cornelio Iruinea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Sandalio in the 54th minute of play. In the 78th minute, one of Soda f c:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Soda f c. Soda f c's Cornelio Iruinea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Ibon in the 83rd minute of play. Cornelio Iruinea was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wilfredo Ibon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 84 minute of play. Rolando Jago hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
