After a rather tough play, Milferio's Melquiades Azeari got a free kick in the 17th minute. Donato Abel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Bernabel in the 20th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Goi notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Imperio Cordobés FC's Donato Abel. Donato Abel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Donato Abel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Ponc in the 29th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Milferio's Donato Abel threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Baldomiro Urko, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Imperio Cordobés FC's Donato Abel got control of the ball when Baldomiro Urko tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Imperio Cordobés FC defense, Mario Bernabel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donato Abel. The Imperio Cordobés FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donato Abel should have stopped the shot. Baldomiro Urko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Bernabel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Donato Abel firmly grabbed it by the left post. 78 minutes into the match, Imperio Cordobés FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Bernabel came free, but Donato Abel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milferio's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
