Abel Egoitz's late challenge caught a Talleres de Escalada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Egoitz helped the player get up and apologised. Abel Egoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltasar Lonzo got free with Mauro Beccari in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute, Leandro Iratxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baltasar Lonzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Mauro Beccari made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Leandro Iratxo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talleres de Escalada's supporters rose to their feet, but Leandro Iratxo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Beccari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baltasar Lonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Sugoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damián Akerman in the 43rd minute of play. Marcelino Sadurni charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelino Sadurni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, 1947 FC's Marcelino Sadurni got a free kick in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baltasar Lonzo was the one to do the kick off. Angelo Sugoi came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by 1947 FC's Abel Egoitz. But to his dismay, Abel Egoitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 54th minute, Damián Akerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauro Beccari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Lonzo in the 57th minute of the match. Angelo Sugoi made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Zeledon Hug sent off a good shot on target. 1947 FC's Florencio Pabla was substituted for Ezequiel Kepa. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Zeledon Hug got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Abel Egoitz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, 1947 FC's Abel Egoitz got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute, Baltasar Lonzo made a precise shot to the right of Mauro Beccari. 1947 FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Mauro Beccari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Lonzo in the 84th minute of play. Leandro Iratxo took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro Beccari. Mauro Beccari dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 91st minute, Baltasar Lonzo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Beccari was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, Talleres de Escalada could leave the field as winners, despite 1947 FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
