Filiberto Ponc's late challenge caught a 1947 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filiberto Ponc helped the player get up and apologised. Filiberto Ponc kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Genaro Lidon kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes 1947 FC got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Rius. Jaime Mannuel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abel Egoitz charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Egoitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Quebracho FC booed when 1947 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Egoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 1947 FC's Aureliano Rius got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Ricardo Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Ponc, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Filiberto Ponc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Severiano Iratzeder received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ricardo Nicholas came out and tried to block the shot, but Severiano Iratzeder slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 60th minute. 1947 FC's Ricardo Nicholas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save 1947 FC from getting a goal against them. Ricardo Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Iratzeder in the 70th minute of the match. Severiano Iratzeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ricardo Nicholas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1947 FC's Zeledon Hug got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Zeledon Hug off the ground. Zeledon Hug kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Filiberto Ponc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quebracho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filiberto Ponc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Nicholas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 85 played minutes 1947 FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Chuse. Jaime Mannuel kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, 1947 FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Nicholas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severiano Iratzeder. When the referee blew the final whistle, 1947 FC could leave the field as winners, despite Quebracho FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
