Anselmo Afonso's late challenge caught a Quebracho FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Talleres de Escalada's Niceto Gutxi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Lando in the 38th minute of play. If Andres Jusepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filiberto Ponc made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Quebracho FC's Tadeo Lartaun got a free kick in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Filiberto Ponc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niceto Gutxi. Talleres de Escalada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filiberto Ponc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Quebracho FC's Teo Frans got a free kick in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Talleres de Escalada getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Raimundo Innocenzio hit a great ball. After 73 played minutes Quebracho FC got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Lando. Nestor Orlondon made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Paulino Fernendo sent off a good shot on target. Niceto Gutxi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Lando in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of Talleres de Escalada booed when Quebracho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Eate didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Quebracho FC's goalkeeper Nestor Orlondon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulino Fernendo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severiano Iratzeder during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
