In the 7th minute, Erasmo Sayveon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Iztal in the 20th minute of play forced Talleres de Escalada's goalkeeper Niceto Gutxi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Paulino Fernendo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Reconquistense FC's Reynaldo Argi. Reynaldo Argi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leandro Iratxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Argi having to interfere. Niceto Gutxi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Iztal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosme Lauren kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Niceto Gutxi came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Reconquistense FC's Melchor Iztal. But to his dismay, Melchor Iztal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Anselmo Afonso kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Santiago Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Gutxi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldo Paublo during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 44 minutes into the match, Santiago Calvino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niceto Gutxi. Talleres de Escalada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santiago Calvino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Talleres de Escalada's Niceto Gutxi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Lopez in the 53rd minute of play. Reynaldo Argi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raimundo Innocenzio went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 60 minutes into the match, Talleres de Escalada's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Calvino came free, but Niceto Gutxi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Reconquistense FC's Santiago Calvino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niceto Gutxi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. A collision led to Reconquistense FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Geronimo Lopez hit a great ball. With a little luck, Talleres de Escalada's Niceto Gutxi got control of the ball when Melchor Iztal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute Raimundo Innocenzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Argi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niceto Gutxi was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Santiago Calvino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Santiago Calvino really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. When Talleres de Escalada's Leandro Iratxo in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Talleres de Escalada supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Reconquistense FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Reconquistense FC.
