In the 13th minute Aldo Etxatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Orlondon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Severiano Iratzeder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pablo Ubendu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Valhalla Time's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Mannuel came free, but Pablo Ubendu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorato Lando hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After 45 minutes, Robustiano Mattin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valhalla Time and the Quebracho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes Valhalla Time got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Mattin. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Quebracho FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Lucio Gil scored to the left of an out of position Nestor Orlondon, making the score, 2-1. In the 63rd minute, Honorato Lando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Valhalla Time defense, Filiberto Ponc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pablo Ubendu. The Valhalla Time fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pablo Ubendu should have stopped the shot. Pablo Ubendu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Ponc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucio Gil got free with Nestor Orlondon in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pablo Ubendu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Iratzeder in the 90th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Valhalla Time's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Ponc came free, but Pablo Ubendu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lucio Gil fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valhalla Time's protests and gave Lucio Gil a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Valhalla Time's Lucio Gil got a free kick in the 95th minute.
