With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimiro Juvenal in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lino Christobal saved Club Atlético Ranchos from getting behind. The Deportivo Diamante U18 fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Deportivo Diamante U18's Vladimiro Juvenal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Deportivo Diamante U18 were furious when Ricardo Chus was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Deportivo Diamante U18's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anastasio Javiero during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Club Atlético Ranchos booed when Deportivo Diamante U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Pudes couldn't finish the play. Deportivo Diamante U18 played a much better game than Club Atlético Ranchos and deserved their victory. The Club Atlético Ranchos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
